watashiは[wa]　ＮＡＭＥです

「watashi」 means “I” and 「watashiは[wa]」 can be interpreted as “Talking about myself”. In Japanese, the SUBJECT “I” is not automatically mentioned when the speakers talk about themselves. However, when they feel it is necessary or when they want to make it clear that they are talking about themselves, it is added.
